Lakewood visit extended

We decided to get our foggy window fixed  so extended our stay thru Thursday leaving on Friday April 25.  Due to extending out stay we got to see one of Chase's baseball games on Tuesday evening.  

 I thought it was neat that they lined up and the national anthem was played.  This was called coach pitch baseball.  The coach from the team at bat pitched to his player.  They got 5 pitches and if no hit then they were out.  They played 6 innings.  Unfortunately Chase's team lost 5-9.

Chase is a serious player.

Then on Wednesday afternoon we got to pick the children up from school and bring them to Lakewood so they could swim again.  We fed them dinner then took them home to do their homework.  

On Thursday late afternoon, we visited with Ed and Hazel from the coach next to us.  Hazel out did herself serving 3 special dips; salmon, artichoke & mango salsa.  They have been full-timers for 8+ years now.  We really enjoyed our visit and learned a lot.
