Bullhead City, AZ

Monday, Jan 19, 2015

Today we left Lake Havasu, AZ and headed to Bullhead City, AZ. Shortly after we left Lake Havasu and as we were exiting I-10 we saw this interesting bridge.
As we got closer, we could tell it was to support pipelines.
We barely got parked in our space when a couple of planes came flying over practicing maneuvers.
At different times, they were very close together.  We wonder if there is to be an air show soon.  We leave on Friday morning so will not be here if it is this weekend.  We also learned that this park is almost just across the street from the airport runways.
Here we are parked and set up.  This is Ridgeview RV Resort.  It is part of our Coast to Coast membership club.  Notice the little hill at the back of the parking spot. Now look at the picture below.
We had to dig a low spot into the little hill at the back of the parking spot for the hitch and tow bar.
This spot is very tight for 40ft coach.

This is the swimming pool at this park.  Looks nice.  It is heated.
This view is from the north side of the RV park.  You can see the Colorado River.  The road that heads north on the right side of the picture is the road to Las Vegas, NV.
As we walked around this RV park, we found a spot where we could see the Colorado River and the bridge that crosses into Laughlin, NV.   Bullhead City is just across the river from Laughlin, NV. We were told there are 11 casinos just across the river in Laughlin.
Tic went back to that cul-de-sac in the RV park and took the pictures above and below.
Obviously this picture is backed out and you can see more of Laughlin, NV.  The bridge is in the picture but unfortunately it doesn't show.  It is a beautiful evening.  It is still 71 degrees F.  We will be in Bullhead City, AZ for 4 nights.  We might check out what's happening at the casinos.
