Drive from Shawboro, NC to Milford, VA

(Tic's two cents: There is so much to see here, we didn't even scratch the surface, but it is time to move on.  There is still much to be seen out on the road before us.)
Our drive out of NC into VA took us thru the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel between Norfolk and Hampton, VA.  We were on a long bridge and off to the right were several battleships.  I was going to take a picture and the camera batteries died.  I got the batteries changed just in time to get some pictures of the tunnel.

We arrived at R&D Family Campground about 3 pm today.  The park is about 10 miles off the interstate so is very quiet.  Our pull-thru site is plenty long without unhooking the Jeep.  Since we are only spending 1 nite, we did not unhook the Jeep.  Most of the campers look like they are long term.  This is a Passport America campground.

 It has been an overcast day with light rain off and on.  The temperatures have dropped dramatically.  It never got up to 70 degrees today.  It is really nice to have a cool evening.
