On the way, just a short distance from our campground, both sides of the road had these mucky looking swamp stuff.
Tic took these pictures while we were driving down the road. They turned our pretty good considering.
Dusty like this house in Water Lilly.
This is the view from the house Dusty likes. See the huge house in the distance?
A bird made a nest on this post probably left from a fallen dock.
This was a really nice dock with a view of the Currituck lighthouse. It is tiny in the center of this picture. The Currituck lighthouse is 162' tall. We did not ever actually get to that lighthouse.
Tic zoomed in from the above spot. This lighthouse is solid brown. We did not actually get to see this lighthouse.
This is one of the mailboxes in Water Lilly.
This ship was on the inter-coastal waterway side of the road. We stopped to check it out. It is part of an inter-coastal cruise line. This ship travels from Jacksonville, FL to Providence, RI on inter-coastal waterways only. A person can take cruises on these ships. We heard the cost of $4000 to $5000 per person with less amenities than an ocean cruise ship. OUCH!
As we crossed the bridge across the inter-coastal waterway, Tic got a picture of the cruise ship.
We now headed to Auntie Maja's for our final visit with her before we leave N.C. in the morning.
