We arrived here on October 25 and WOW today is actually November 21. I can hardly believe we were there almost 4 weeks. We come to Weatherford annually for all our doctors appointments including dentist and ophthalmologist.
Here is our parking site at Hooves and Wheels RV Park. It is a spacious site and mostly level with full hook-ups. It is fairly quiet. We are enjoying our stay.
I love this black and white Tic got of a sunset our first night in the area.
This sunset in color from Hooves and Wheels RV Park RV Park. Gorgeous!
The pictures above and below are of the same sunset. We have many beautiful sunsets in the evenings here.
This the the majestic Weatherford courthouse.
We took a walk through a local park called Holland Lake Park. It had rained for a couple of days and has finally stopped. Even though it is cloudy it was moderate temps and great to get out.
I know you can't see it, but near the center top of the picture and at the water's edge is a beautiful blue heron.
Looks like the clouds are starting to clear.
The "lake" is stocked and aerated. The grounds are kept nicely as you can see.
There are several swings around to just sit and enjoy. We didn't take advantage of them this time.
The sun is starting to set and the colors in the clouds are pink and purple. Almost looks fake. God sure can paint beautiful skies!
We have been back to this park to have a picnic lunch.
We picnicked close to the double cabin. Above is its description and below is the cabin.
This is a pretty little park not far from the town square.
See the next post for the Veterans Day Parade.
