Journey from Florence, AZ to Myrtle Beach, SC

March 21 - 30, 2018

Our plan was to spend spring break with our 14 yr old granddaughter, Isabel and 12 yr old grandson, Chase. We don't see them as often, so are excited to get to spend some time with them.

March 21

This was our sunset the first night on the road. We are in Deming, NM.

March 22

We spent night 2 in Pecos TX.  The sunset was fairly good this evening also. 

March 23 we spent the night in Midland, TX and visited with my step-mom.  She is a special lady and now 92 so wanted to take the opportunity to visit.  We were so busy visiting I forgot to take any pictures. Great visit!

March 24 & 25 we spent in Weatherford, TX. We stayed an extra day so we could go to church and see all our friends.  We had great visits with our many friends.

March 25 we spent in Homer, LA in an RV Park along a river.

It was a peaceful place to stay. We used Passport America and it only cost $15 for such a beautiful place.

March 27 thru 29 were nothing special.  No pictures.

March 30, we arrived in Myrtle Beach, SC to Myrtle Beach Travel Park.  We are parked near the beach.   

 The pictures above and below are what we see from the beach access close to our RV.

We had dinner at our son & daughter-in-law's.  She is a fantastic cook. Because we were tired we came back before sunset.

This was the early sunset.

The clouds were so thick on the horizon, this is what the moon looked like as the moon rose.

 Finally the moon cleared the clouds.

 The reflection of moonshine on the water was pretty. What a beautiful way to end the day.

Tomorrow Isabel starts her volleyball tournament lasting Saturday and Sunday. Wahoo!
