Desert Gardens RV Park near Florence, AZ

Monday, February 1, 2016

Today we moved from Marana-Tucson to Florence, AZ.  It was only a 1.5 hour drive.  The weather in Marana the night of 1-31-2016 was extreme. There was rain and wind gusts up to 65 mph.  We noticed the next morning that one of our slide awnings had come apart.

It was still lightly snowing when we pulled out about 10:30am.
This is the entrance to Desert Gardens RV Park.

This is our site for the next month.  You can see it is very overcast here also.  There is not any moisture.

This is the next morning.  Look at that blue sky.  The lot size is 60' X 70'. All the lots in this area are about this size.  The people have been extremely friendly.

Above is looking up the street from our lot, and below is looking down the street.  Look how wide the streets are.

As we walked through the park today, this is one of the views.

We like this park so much that we are seriously considering buying a lot in this park.

This is the view from one of the available sites. We really like this site.  Still thinking.

This park is in the out in the country, yet it is only a little over an hour to either Tucson (south) or Phoenix (north).  Casa Grande has most of the shopping a person might want and it is only 20 miles.  If you are used to being in the country this is an ideal place.

The people in this park are all extremely friendly.  In the 2 days we've been here we have seen at least 2 lots leased.  We decided we wanted to lease a lot also.  We now have a 99 year lease and membership in the Desert Gardens RV Park Coop on one of the larger lots available.

This is a 360 degree of our lot.  It is just gravel and sand right now.  We are excited to have a winter spotIt will be a lot less expensive for us.  Another new adventure.
