Carrollwoods April 25-27

We left Lakewood about 11am on Friday April 25 and arrived at Carrollwoods Campground next to Grapefull Sisters Vineyards.  We are out in the country.  It is really peaceful. All spots are pull-thrus with full hookups.  Firmly packed gravel roads and parking pads are fairly level.  Cable is no extra charge and the WiFi is excellent. This is part of Coast to Coast.
This is our spot on Friday.  The park is nearly full.

This is our spot after the neighbor in the little trailer left on Sunday.
This is the office and wine tasting/gift shop.  The sisters live upstairs.
Here is one of the vineyards.  See the bottle tree in the foreground?  We saw one in the Brookgreen Gardens.  The info there told us the bottle tree was to keep away evil spirits.
As we walked around the porch of the house, we saw this moth.  It seemed to be hurt because it did not fly away as we came up to it.  It just awkwardly moved on the floor.
This building houses the restrooms with showers, laundry room and a covered patio with table and chairs.  Behind the fence is a swimming pool.
Here is the swimming pool.
There is even a playground.  This is a nice place and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.  If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again.
Saturday afternoon there was a bluegrass band from 1-4 pm.  Also about 3:15 pm the Myrtle Beach Skydiving Club had 8 skydivers drop in. The last skydiver had a US flag attached to him.
Here are the first 2 and one of them has a smoker on his feet.
The 2 pics above are as some of them get closer.
Here's the guy with the American flag.
Here is one of the skydivers.  They all had cameras on the top of their helmets.
There was one female.  The young ladies at the park were fascinated with her.
Here is the bluegrass band playing. They were pretty good.
It was a hot day in the the sun so Dusty sat under her umbrella.  As you can tell others did the same.
Tic is MY handsome dude. He used a different kind of umbrella.  It just shaded his head.  Hee Hee  It was a fun time!
Sunday was another beautiful day.  We slept in.  Then I fixed eggs & sausage for breakfast.
We were even able to watch the 9:30 am service at NSBC.  GREAT morning! That afternoon we did a little organization of the storage bays and took a walk thru the woods.  Tic cooked filets outside for our dinner.  This is the life.
