Fort Stockton, TX

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

Well we got to leave San Angelo.  The ice on the road had melted as of this morning.  We waited until 11am to leave.  On our route to Fort Stockton, there was an area with slush on the road.  We got to the Hilltop RV Park about 2:30pm.

It's hard to tell but this mural at the entrance to the RV park is very well done.

Cute office.  The blowup RV door actually opens and Santa Claus pokes his head out.  Too cute!

These are the 3 metal Mexican mariachi’s in front of the office.

This communal fire pit is next to the office also.

More metal hombres out front.

Love this metal donkey!  The area around the office is decorated well.

Each site is mostly level with a small pad and picnic table.  The roads and sites are caliche.  There are not any trees, but then again we are out in West Texas.

This is I-10 headed west.  We will be heading West to El Paso  tomorrow.

The "Indian Scouts" metal art is across the highway from the RV park where we are staying.  This greets people heading east on I-10 at the edge of Fort Stockton.

We are blessed with another beautiful sunset this evening.

The "Indian Scouts" at sunset.

Thank you Lord for our safe travels today and blessing us so much!!
