San Angelo, TX Day 2

Thursday, December 24, 2015

Tic got us early the next morning so get this picture of our current home site.  Another beautiful morning!

Our storage sea container is here in San Angelo, so we dropped off and picked up a few things.  We spent some time rearranging how things are stored in the bays.

After lunch we decided to take a long walk through the park.
We were disappointed because they recently had a controlled burn throughout the park.  It was not pretty in a lot of places.

This is a no longer used road showing the burning on the road and along side the road.  We were surprised that some of the bushes did not completely burn.

However, we did see........................
what I thought was actual buffalo until we got closer.
This bull was really tame.  Hee Hee

We saw this pretty little bird.......

some large dogs.  Oh wait, those are deer.  Gosh they are small.

This little bird was pecking around in the grass.

The sun is setting and the moon is rising.  Notice the lower sky is pink and the upper sky is blue.

I love the way Tic got the moon in this shot.  Notice the lower sky is blue and the upper sky is pink now.  This tree reminds me of an open heart.  We are so blessed to be able to enjoy so many sunsets.

This is Christmas Eve and the moon is supposed to be full tomorrow.  It sure looks like a full moon tonight.

At 7pm we will meet my brother and his family at Bonsai Japanese Steakhouse.  It is their annual tradition to eat here on Christmas Eve.
Below are pictures of the family that were present.  Seven people were unable to attend.

There were so many of us that this group took up 2 cook tops.

It was great fun to get to see most of the family at one time!  We did get to see the missing people at other times.
