Weekend with the whole Privette Family

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, October 3-5

It is fun for us when we get to see the boys.  Each boy is different and has own gifts.
Left to right are Noah, Tyler and Zack.

Saturday morning we all headed to the Tesuque Glassworks to see glass blowing done.
It was off the beaten path.  You would not just happen on this place.
This "tree" decorated with glass-blown flowers was at the entrance.
This was out by the parking lot.  Creative.
Here the guy is heating the glass just before he blows into the end of the rod.  He is making shot glasses for a special showing he is going to have.
This is an example of glass-blown flowers.
This is a glass necklace.  Tic did not get any pictures of the many bowls on display for purchase.

We learned that there were also metal and copper artists with their stuff on display outdoors in a large park like area.  Below will be several pictures of the works on display.

A unique fountain on display.

This one bothered me.  I did not care for it.
This one of men playing checkers was fun.  The detail was amazing.  The chairs and everything were part of the sculpture.
James was giving a few hints on moves for the game.  Hee Hee
Tyler was trying to figure out the next move. :-)
This is one unique long-horn cow.  Easy to feed!

This man is playing horseshoes.  It is a scene in progress.  There was one other man on a pallet and two others that had not been moved into place yet.

Got all kinds of critters below.

This clothesline of metal clothes was original.
Tyler decided to see if the bra would fit him.  Hee Hee
Noah was chatting with Grandpa.
Zack found a rock to sit on and cool off.  It was a warm sunny day.

This was taken on Sunday morning just outside the church.  It was really bright, thus the squinty eyes.  This is the Privette family.
Tic and Dusty with the 3 boys.

After lunch we went to fly a shark kite at the elementary school at the end of the street of Jessica and James new house.
James holds the kite while Tyler takes off running.  See below.
Almost caught in the tree.  But...

the shark takes off.
The kite gets higher and ...............
higher.  See the small black cross looking spot?  The basketball hoop gives a little prospective.
While Tyler was flying the kite, Maggie had fun wandering around.
And Noah had fun putting grass on Jessica's head.  We were sitting in the grassy playground area.
This is looking from the grassy playground area across the parking lot to the playground with slides and jungle gym type stuff.  The Santa Fe mountains are in the background.  Beautiful view!  See the beautiful blue sky?

Back across the street to the family's new house.

This is a better picture of all the Privettes on their new back deck.
Here we are on the same back deck.
Noah even has a telescope.  We looked through it a couple of nights.  Cool.
They have a gorgeous backyard and will really enjoy their new deck and their sunroom.  We are so happy for them!
Well it has been great being here.  We will be moving on tomorrow.
