Wow, we have had 2 full days of no rain.  According to the forecast, there is no rain for several days.  Whaa hoo!

It was nice to have a sunny day to drive in!  To make up for it we had to go through a lot of construction slow-downs.  All in all it was a good and beautiful drive.

We are staying at Lake Haven Retreat just inside the Indianapolis city limits.  We are staying for 2 nights.  We plan to fix a couple of minor things and do some shopping for a few items we should be able to get in the big city.  Otherwise we plan to take it easy.

There is a nice pond here also.  A little before sunset, we started walking around the pond.  We saw these 2 Momma mallards and their 4 babies.  The sunshine reflections on the water are really dramatic.

As we got around the other side of the pond, we saw these Canadian geese and their 4 babies.  

 This beautiful red winged black bird was in the reeds at the pond's edge.

As we walked through a covered pavilion, we saw...........

A mother robin feeding her 4 chicks.

We sat and watched her get a worm in the grass just beside us.

Then she took it to her babies.

I guess the baby with its mouth wide open did not get the worm.

Oh look there are 5 baby Canadian geese not just 4 as I thought earlier.

It has been a productive stay here.  Tomorrow we head to Goshen for the FMCA Glamarama Rally for 4 nights.  It should be fun!
