Dave and Roxanne from Weatherford, TX came to Branson to spend several days with us. They stayed at Fall Creek Suites Diamond Resort.
This pond pictures above and below is on the grounds. Beautiful grounds and really nice condos.
We all decided that on Monday late afternoon we would take the Branson Belle dinner cruise.
Aren't we a cute bunch? Tic had to take the picture.
There were lots of beautiful flowers in bloom. We couldn't pass them by with pictures.
We are walking down to board the Branson Belle. They have you go through a zig zag line like at 6 Flags before we actually got the brown walkway leading to the boat. We are glad we are finally getting to do this after watching the boat for several days.
Here are some interesting facts about the boat.
Our seating was on level 1. Guests are allowed on the 3 upper levels (as you will see later). There is a "basement" for the entertainment and kitchen. Basement is what the elevator called the lowest level.
This is the stage from our seats. Great view!
Tic took lots of pictures of the many acts in the show. However, most of the fast moving acts were blurry. I'm inserting some of the ones that were not blurry.
This is the stage band that played all the music for all the acts.
Aunt Emily was out causing trouble. Boy could she talk fast!
We ate during several of the acts. After dinner was over there was an intermission for them to clear the tables. We walked all over the ship and took lots of pictures.
We are on the 3rd level looking down at the first level and the gang plank. We were told that is where the people that jump are brought up. Hee Hee
It was overcast and misting lightly, but we didn't care. We were having fun!
Tic is looking from the stern to the bow. I'm sure when the weather is better, they use this huge deck.
There are actually 2 paddle wheels.
The flag hands from the stern of the 3rd level deck.
The room to the right side of the picture is actually the pilots cabin. See the ship's bell??
We are inside the 3rd level looking down at the eating tables. The stage is to the right of us.
Now we are on the 2nd level looking at the stage, obviously.
This musical instrument is in the "lobby" as you walk in.
These guys tap danced. They were good! I enjoy good tap dancing.
This group of guys sang songs from several eras.
The picture above and the next 3 are some of the performers doing some of their favorite songs.
This is the only female in the acts and she has a fantastic voice!
The last performance was to honor the military and the USA. Very inspiring!
We had a great time! And the chicken dinner was good too!
Surprise!
