Kayak trip from Espanola to Santa Fe NM

This afternoon Tic and James decided they were going to do a kayak trip. Jessica, Rux and I dropped them off at the Rio Grande River in Espanola.

Rux wanted to go.  Not this time.

Above and below they are heading off and it is about 2pm.  They are estimating it will take them about 3+ hours.

Jessica, Rux and I took off for Santa Fe to do some shopping before we picked up the guys. We received a text from them giving us their location along the way. We estimated it would take them about 3.5 hours.

We arrived at the pick up location about 5:30.  We did not see any sign of the guys until about 6pm. We were glad to see them.

 They had a fun trip. However the water was low in places and they had to walk and drag they kayaks several times.  That is what took them longer.
