NM State Fair

Saturday, September 8, 2018

This morning we took off for the NM State Fair.  It used to be one our favorite events to attend. We enjoy the crafts and other events, vendors and of course the rodeo.

We first saw the quilts.  I've put a few of the ones that really impressed me.

It's amazing what quilters can do.  I admire their creativity.

There was an antique car show.  This row are all Volkswagens (obviously)!

This was one street of the food and game booths.

We will be staying until rodeo time. About mid-afternoon, we took a break in the Native American Village and sat under the trees. Cool picture.

We saw these people on stilts walking and dancing through the village.

There was even a lift that took you from one end of the park to the other end.

The pictures we took at the rodeo, were not that good so I have not included any of them.

After the rodeo and on the way to the where we parked the car, we passed this colorful slide.
It was a beautiful night and lots of people still enjoying the rides.  We had a GREAT day!!
