Pulaski Polka Days

Friday, July 18

Today we decided to do something different and drive to Pulaski, WI and take in a polka festival.
It was fun sitting and watching all the people dancing.  There were obviously experienced dancers and those just out having fun including people ages approx 7 to 87 yrs old dancing.  Everyone was having a good time.  We only took a picture of one band.  It was a family.  Look how young the boys are.

We also decided we "needed" to try polish food.
We ordered 2 pierogies.  A pierogie is a small fried pie filled with mashed potatoes & cheese.  Well, it was different to eat fried mashed potatoes.

That was our big adventure for today.  We are really enjoying the weather here.  It is nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors any time of day.  We have been having a campfire most evenings.  The mosquitoes get bad about 8:30pm but stop around 9ish.
