Today we decided to go to the weekly flea market at the county fair grounds in Shawano, WI. It was pretty big. Nothing like Canton. We decided to buy a couple of golf putters so we could play more putt putt at the various campgrounds we stay at. A lot of the campgrounds have had putt putt. This way we do not have to hassle with standing in line to get their putters. We got the putters for $5 ea. What a bargain. Then as we were walking around we found a really cool antique wooden butter churn.
Here is the first view. It comes apart. See below.
Our friend Roxanne had been looking for a wooden butter churn. So after contacting her we bought it. We will deliver it when we get back to Weatherford.
We took a different route back to the campground. We came by a street named Hill View and decided to take it.
This is looking back from the top. What a view!!
A little later we came across this beautiful farm and barn with another unique barn quilt.
We couldn't fit all the view into one picture. This is looking to the right. Below is looking to the left.
See all the trees they planted. They are blue spruce and pines. Then there is a crop of corn in the background. I think we are in love with the country.
Here is a close-up of the barn quilt. Love the colors!
We enjoyed another fire and visited with some people who have been full-timing for 16 yrs now.
We are so blessed & privileged to be able to travel and see this beautiful country and visit with so many different people. Thank you Lord!
PS We had to drive into Shawano to be able to get internet service so I could create my posts.
