Kerrville, TX Day 1

Wednesday, November 19

We slept in and had a leisurely breakfast.  Then packed up and headed to Triple T RV Resort in Kerrville, TX.  We arrived about 3pm.
This is our site at TTT.  The site is fairly level and nice and wide.
This is the clubhouse here.  There are apartment type rooms at each end of the clubhouse. I was told visiting nurses were living in most of them.
The front door into the club house is next to the pink rocker. This is the TV viewing area.  TV is hooked up to satellite with lots of stations. Notice the organ also.

See the organ and front door.  This sitting area is beside the TV viewing area.  Notice the tile floor.
Notice where the tile ends.  That is the center of the room.  Behind the TV viewing area & the sitting area are a pool table and ping pong table.  This is a very large open area.  TV watching is not very compatible with playing pool or ping pong. While the room is plenty large enough to all these activities, they are not conducive to each other.
In another separate room is a good sized library.  Books can be exchanged.  Then on through the walkway is a large area for group meals.
There are plenty of tables and chairs for a fairly good sized group.
This is a large work table in the kitchen area.  Look at the number of the coolers for refrigerated foods. Behind that window with the screen pulled down are several stoves.
This is only 2 of the 4 stoves available.  The counter is at the window in the above picture. One of the other campers that have been here 3 weeks told us this used to be a camp retreat and was bought and turned into a RV park.  They let all the campers and long term residents use these facilities.
Behind the clubhouse is this swimming pool.  There is even a shallow area for small kids.  There is an above ground hot tub just off the right side of the picture also.  Campers are even allowed to adjust the temperature for themselves.
Towards the back of the property the owners are also building little cabins to be rented out.

Phase 1 has 34 large 75’ pull thru sites and 5 back in sites.  All sites have 30/50 amp, sewer, cable and high speed internet.

Phase 2 has 20 back in sites with 30/50 amp, sewer, cable and high speed internet.

Phase 3 will have 15 large 1 bedroom cabins with bathroom and full kitchen. They will also have a 6 foot porch to sit out and enjoy watching the deer roam. These are being built now on the back half of the property. This is a nice RV Resort.
