We met some other RV campers here at the park and are planning to get together and play pool about 2pm. So we decided to go to the "Coming of the King" sculpture and prayer garden here in Kerrville.
See the cross on the far hill. That is where we are headed.
This is us with Max Greiner, the founder of this special place.
In the sidewalks heading to the cross there are many many scriptures in engraved in stone in 3 languages. There are also a few sculptures along the way. I'm going to put less than half the scriptures in this blog. It was really hard to cut down on the pictures for this post.
Shortly into the walk we came to this sculpture of Jesus with a fishing net. It was titled "Fisher of men".
This scripture was behind the sculpture of Jesus and the fishing net.
This is a statue of Jesus washing Peter's feet.
The scriptures were different on each side of the globe.
This globe was straight across from the sculpture of Jesus washing Peter's feet.
Towards the back of the garden, black Sharpies were provided to write prayers on rocks. This is just one picture we took of the prayer rocks.
Tic prayed for us as we stood in the middle of the "Empty Cross". It was a moving experience.

I requested that we go out to eat this evening (before the rain came) in celebration of my birthday. We went to Mamacita's and had a great time and good food.
Saturday, November 22
Today it is raining and supposed to rain all day. It is supposed to clear my midnight. Because it was a rainy day I spent today catching up my books AND catching up the blog.
Also it is my birthday so Tic blessed me with doing the cooking and cleaning for the day. That is a most wonderful birthday present!
