Solitude Pointe, Cleveland, SC

Thursday, July 14, 2016

We are leaving Carrollwoods RV Park near Tabor City, NC headed to Cleveland, SC.  We wanted to see some of the many waterfalls in that part of the country.  Solitude Pointe was the closest and available RV park that could hold a 40' coach AND was not way in on narrow curvy roads.

We had a fairly level site with FHU and 50 amp.  It was $45 per night.

They had a small fishing pier and canoes to rent. See below.

It is a pretty little creek.  We didn't think it had enough water to actually go anywhere in a canoe.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.  There were only 14 RV sites, so if you are interested in staying here, I would recommend you call ahead of time.

As soon as we got set up, we took off on a short excursion to Table Rock State Park and our first waterfall.  See the next post.
