Visiting with Faulkner and Krull Families in Myrtle Beach, SC

July 2 - 14, 2016

This being the July 4th weekend, there were lots of activities planned for the weekend. On Saturday, the Krull family celebrated Jennifer's (our daughter-in-law) birthday by going out to dinner and to a concert at the House of Blues and we joined them.

 The birthday girl, Jennifer above and Jason, our son, below.  We are at the Hippo Nacho for dinner.

After dinner, we all headed to House of Blues.

This is all the girls now at House of Blues. The picture is a little foggy because of the artificial smoke being created.

This is the Rumors band that we came to see.  They played tribute to Fleetwood Mac.  It was a great performance!

Sunday, July 3, 2016, the family got together at the family condo for an afternoon of swimming and cooking out.

Shortly after we started the charcoal, some ominous clouds started building.

Jason even had to cover the grill while cooking due to the rain.

Above and below shows the family eating under a pergola near the pool.

The storm moved through quickly and the sun came back out.  Chase and his cousin, Cameron, are having fun in the pool.

After we finished eating, some of us took a walk to the beach.  It is only 2 blocks from the condo.  It is almost dark and still warm even on the beach.

Monday, July 4, 2016, we went back to Jason's house for fireworks.  He puts on his own fireworks display in the middle of his cul-de-sac.

One evening Chase decided to come to the RV Park and spend the night with us.

This is the next morning.  He was sleeping well.  He told us he liked the airbed.

This is one of the beautiful sunsets we got to enjoy at Carrollwood RV Park.
