Soaring Eagles Hideaway RV Park Mt.Pleasant MI Final Days

Wednesday - Sunday, August 10 - 14, 2016

We used this time to just take care of daily activities.  We have also had 2 days of rain.  It rained more of the days than not.  It's been nice to have time to just be.

One afternoon while I was sitting at the kitchen table working on my computer, I watched these birds just outside the window.  Looks like a female and young male to us.

Another afternoon, we thought the clouds were breaking up because we saw a small patch of blue.  Nope, the heavy dark clouds and rain returned.  These clouds are pretty though.

Thursday, our friends, Howard and Sandy, came over in the morning.  We had a nice visit then went out to eat at a local Mexican restaurant that came highly recommended.  It was delicious.  Of course I did not think to get pictures of our friends.

Friday, since it was raining, we decided to go to the movies and see the new Jason Bourne movie.  It was action packed.  We enjoyed it.  After the movie we decided to go to that Mexican restaurant again. The name of the restaurant is Los Palominos.  We would recommend it if you like Mexican food.

Sunday morning it was beautifully sunny with temps in the mid 70's.  We decided to take a walk around the park.

The flowers were beautifully blooming around the park sign.

As we walked around one side of the lake, we got some beautiful pictures.  The water was still and the reflections were great!

There was even a free shuttle over to the casino.  We did not go to the casino even once.  The smokey environment is not our thing.
 

This pretty little yellow bird was around this Sunday morning as we were putting stuff away in preparation of leaving tomorrow morning.

It has been a very welcome relaxing stay.  We are now ready to get moving and seeing more of God's wonders.
