Drive from Stewart, BC to Meziadin Lake Provincial Park, BC

Friday, August 18, 2017

It has rained so much in Stewart and Hyder that the waterfalls off the mountains are much fuller in just 3 days.

Above shows how foggy it still is this morning. There are 3 waterfalls where only 2 could be seen when we drove by 3 days ago.

The next 3 pictures show several waterfalls as we are drivingt out.

There weren't good places to stop at many of the waterfalls. I finally stopped, stopping to take pictures.

It is so humid and rainy that my hair is almost in ringlets.

We arrived at Meziadin Lake about 11:30am.  It is not raining and some blue skies.  What a difference and pleasant surprise.
This is our site for this stay. It is mostly level and large.

Tic was practicing with the camera and took the above picture. Look below at the little bird on the top branch.

The waters are calm so there are several kayakers out. Makes for a pretty picture.
This is a gorgeous lake. With the calm winds and flat water the reflections are stunning.
It is quiet here. We are going to enjoy our stay here for the night.
