We
are parked in Prince George, B.C. Light rain has been falling most
of last night and thru the early part of the day, but now as the sun
sinks lower in the sky, sunshine is showing some clearing. Tomorrow
we head South on Highway 97, headed for the U.S. border. We used our
time today as a planning day. Our entire trip back to our winter
home has been planned with reservations made at most of our planned
stops.
Highway
97 in British Columbia has been closed due to heavy smoke from forest
fires for weeks. The highway has just re-opened with travel
advisories.
With God’s blessing, we will cross the U.S.-Canadian border on the 28th of August and arrive at our winter home about the 11th of September.

We have greatly enjoyed our trip thru Canada and Alaska, but now we need to clean-up the camper and get it sold; move back into our Beaver and make new travel plans.
