Today we move from Pojoaque, NM to Buena Vista, CO.
We stayed one night in Pojoaque to break up the drive PLUS we were close enough to go see our daughter and family. It was a treat to be able to spend some time with our 2 1/2 yr old grandson and his parents!
It was a beautiful drive. However there were too many bugs on the windshield to take pictures as we drove. We did go over one 8800' elevation summit on the way to Buena Vista.
We are staying at Valley Mobile RV Park. I it is very neat and tidy park. There are several (3-4) mobile homes here but mostly RVs. We are at 8045' elevation here at the park.
This is the views from the front of the park as we drive out. We are parked near the back of the park. You are looking at Mt Princeton, part of "The Fourteens". There is a mountain range where all the peaks are over 14,000' elevation.
This is looking eastward out the back of the park as the sun is setting.
Still looking out the back of the park are these unique rock formations. We are in a beautiful area to say the least. We plan to be here until July1 when we must leave because they are fully booked then.
The clouds were really pretty this evening. We are looking forward to our stay here in wonderful weather!!! Highs in low 80's and lows at night in the mid-40's. And it is quiet, no railroads, no airports, and no traffic noise.
