Yesterday was our last day at Desert Gardens. While I was busy watering our little Palo Verde tree, I noticed a bird nest in the tree. A Dove flew in and sat on the nest. I guess I had scared her off. Sorry we won't be around to see the eggs hatch.
We did enjoy a beautiful sunset. See below.
This morning we drove from Desert Gardens in Florence, AZ to Distant Drums RV Park in Camp Verde, AZ. After being in a park with huge sites, this park seems very crowded and noisy.
The back of the coach is hanging over the back of the concrete pad and the nose is at the edge of the front of the pad. Back to the real world.
Many of the sites are not level. This is not our coach just a coach parked close by. They had to raise the rear wheel on one side off the ground to level their coach.
We decided to walk through the park. Here are some sites with awesome views.
This is a closeup of the ridge in the background in the picture before.
As we look a different direction we can see this huge rain storm. Pretty awesome isn't it?!
Just look at this storm! It is magnificent!!!
Then we turned a little more and .....no rain. Unfortunately you cannot see the sun beams shining between the clouds. What a difference.
The next two days we plan to spend driving through the mountains around us. The rain is supposed to clear so we should have great views.
