Los Alamos, NM Part 3

Sunday, May 15 thru Tuesday, May 17, 2016

We are having so much fun babysitting our grandson, Rux!

Doesn't he look like a young man?  That shirt is actually attached to a shirt underneath that snaps under his crotch.  That keeps the outer shirt in place so it does not ride up.  Clever!

Rux doesn't have the core muscles to sit on his own yet, but he loves to sit up.  Tic and Rux are watching Sesame Street.

Jessica has this little chair to help him sit by himself.  He still leans to one side, but he is really enjoying it!  He is a very happy baby!

Here he is on his tummy with a toy on his head.  Too cute!!  I'm not a proud Nana or anything.  Hee Hee.

Jessica's living room has a very tall ceiling with windows floor to ceiling on the outside wall.  This poor bird flew into the upper part of the window and killed itself.  It wasn't long and a raven came along and picked it up and took it.  We thought it might be a type of oriole.

Los Alamos has a project to promote art throughout.  The following 5 pots are all in White Rock near my daughter's house.
These are all huge pots.  I left stuff in the background so you had some prospective.

This last pot was at the entrance to the RV park we stayed at.  See the street sign?  Huge pots!

Well, we leave in the morning.  It has been lots of fun!  Just the thought of leaving makes me miss Rux already!  Oh well, life goes on.
