Homer AK Day 3

Today is another gorgeous day.  We plan to take it easy and just enjoy the weather and sights.

We passed this house several times as we drove around. This 3-story house is on a hillside overlooking the bay. A lot of the houses are 3-story so they have views even as the trees grow. This was Tic's favorite house. 

We sat outside visiting with the neighbors and watching the eagles for hours. I'm only including a few of the MANY pictures we took.

 The above bald eagle is not fully matured yet. He flew really close.

 We even saw 2 and 3 bald eagles at a time.  We did not get a picture when we saw the 3 together.

The eagles flew over us for several hours.  It was so fun to watch!

 This is looking down the hill from our site.  The tide is on its way out.

Tic zoomed in on this house with a couple of solar panels and this unusual wind generator.
 

 Tic was a jewel and built a fire for me to enjoy. This was about 9pm. See how bright it still is outside?

We even got some whale watching in.  The whales were so very far from us it was hard to get a picture at just the correct moment. If you look hard in the center of the picture is 2 gray spots.  We decided this was a mother with her calf. What a wonderful day it has been.  God has blessed us again!!
