Today we move from Portage Valley to Palmer AK. We will be there a few days. It is overcast and raining lightly this morning.
The forecast says it is supposed to be partly cloudy, which would be an improvement. Guess we will have to wait and see.
Many people have dreams. Our dream, God willing, is to be able to travel; see America and make new friends. We hope this blog will help to keep friends and family informed of our adventures.

Today we move from Portage Valley to Palmer AK. We will be there a few days. It is overcast and raining lightly this morning.
We arrived and it was still raining lightly. We are hoping for some sunshine in the next few days.
Even though it is overcast, we decided to drive to Reflections Lake.
You can see the low clouds.
The picture above is of a loon in Reflections Lake splashing and putting on a show. It was fun to watch.
We did not see any other loons around so figure he/she was just enjoying the water. Or rehearsing!
Next we went to Mirror Lake. Tic was hoping to get some great reflection pictures. As you can tell both above and below it is still very overcast. He was able to get a little bit of reflections.
