Bryce Canyon National Park

 Monday, May 8, 2017 - continued

We finally made it to Bryce Canyon.  Yes we have a large crack in the windshield of our Jeep.

Signs like this one were everywhere in Bryce Canyon.

Bryce Canyon is known for its crimson-colored hoodoos, which are spire-shaped rock formations.

This is Rainbow Point.  The sun was so bright that the different colored rocks don't show very well.

We even saw this natural "bridge" which was actually a natural arch.

Look at all the people.  There were several tour buses roaming the park also.  We tried to be at different locations, but obviously joined them at this site.

This natural bridge was not even highlighted.  We thought it looked more like a "bridge" than the one before.

If you look closely, you can see hiking trails.

So many awesome views.  It's amazing how weather creates so many unique hoodoos.

We really enjoyed our excursion today.

  1. Great Pictures, Loved this place, especially the trails among the hoodoos. Will be watching while you go to Alaska. We never made it there. How many years are you at now?
