Skyline Park in Susanville, CA & Wild Horses in Litchfield, CA

Saturday, May 23, 2015 continued

After we finished walking through Susanville and seeing all the murals, we drove to Skyline Park in the north part of Susanville.

This was a small park were you could take a short hike up a hill that overlooked the city.  To the east side of Susanville we could see this small reservoir.
At the top of the hill, we looked southward down on Susanville.
As we walked around to the north side of the hill we could see our car... I mean Jeep.  Tic tells me I cannot call it a car.

Next we decided to check out the place where you can adopt wild horses and or burros.  It is just about 7 miles up the road from our campground.
It was right on Hwy 395 and easy to find.

The facilities were closed so Tic walked down the fence line and took this short video.

This picture and the one below are a couple of close ups Tic took.  The horses look to be in pretty good condition.

We headed home.  We had all the fun we could handle in one day.  Hee Hee

This was our sunset tonight.  What a blessing to a wonderful day!
