Tuesday, March 15, 2016 - continued

We got home from Balboa Park about 3 pm.  We had time for a short nap before dinner.  My wonderful brother-in-law has been cooking every night since we arrived.  He is a fantastic cook!

After a short rest, we learned that dinner would not be until about 7pm.  We decided to walk down to the beach before dinner.
 

 Johnathan Seagull was flying overhead.

For being about 5pm there were still lots of people on the beach and in the water.  We have to keep reminding ourselves it is still Winter.

The pelicans were quite active also.  This is only one batch we saw. 

This is my brother-in-law Mike.  My sister, Debbie, and I are walking in the middle right side of the picture.
 

We saw this succulent plant that had 2 different colors of flowers.

Here is another succulent type of ground cover all around.
 

This hotel is on the edge of the beach.  Rooms are expensive and nothing that special.
 

This bar and grill was on the water's edge also.  Beautiful views!

Time to head back for dinner.  They live in a really beautiful area of town.
