Sightseeing around Los Alamos NM

I got my posts a little out of order. This post is while we were still in Los Alamos.

Today was a family day. We enjoyed being with James, Jessica & Rux.

The day ended with this gorgeous full moon! A wonderfully blessed day!!!

Today is our last full day here. We decided to do a little sightseeing around the area.

This is the view from Los Alamos main hill road as we are going down the hill. We thoroughly enjoyed the awesome views. The picture below is also coming down the same hill.

It looked like it might be snowing in the mountains near Santa Fe. However, the temperature was in the 50s here in Los Alamos.

We went to an overlook in White Rock. The clouds were very interesting. As you can see, some were hanging very low. This picture is taken in black & white.

This is the same clouds in color. Both are beautiful!

In another area of the sky this part of the cloud was hanging down. We watched to see what might happen.

Then another part of the clouds also lowered. Before long, it was one big cloud sitting on the ground.

The Rio Grande River runs through the valley we were looking at.

The clouds were low, so this picture is not clear. No matter, I like seeing the river winding through the valley.

Jessica took our picture with this beautiful back ground.

Late in the afternoon the clouds started to break up.

We were walking through the neighborhood. You can see the clouds in the distance are rain clouds. But there is as much sun as clouds over us. The pictures below is looking the opposite direction. Amazing views!
