Today we decided to drive to Grants Pass to the Walmart there. We passed through a few small towns. On the way back we stopped in the town of Kerby.
This was an interesting place.
This is the front porch of the private residence part of the building. The front of the building is the store. Notice the burled logs framing the porch.
This is the back side of the building. Unique!
Here are the front doors. Notice the burled logs here also.
How about this rocking horse!?!
This model tree house is constructed on a burl and a slice of a burl as the tree top. Creative!
This is a small example of some of the burl items for sale.
There were several tree houses outside also. This is one of three.
Here's another tree house. Large burls have been hollowed out and used as windows.
There were rose bushes everywhere. This yellow rose made me think of Texas.
Just south of Cave Junction we saw this RV. Doesn't look like it has moved in a while. Got any takers? Call the number on the side. You could join us on the road.
