Bridal Veil Waterfall, UT

The trip to Bridal Falls

As we drove down the highway from Jordanelle towards
Heber City, UT, we were suddenly able to view Mount Timpanogos in the distance.

The morning sun was illuminating the leaves changing to red,
And changing to orange.

Another view of Mount Timpanogos across Deer Creek Reservoir.

Sorry, but one more view closer up.  Can you imagine the roar of the landslide when that collapsed?

Continuing downhill, another curve in the road, and another awesome view revealed.

Of course, we are in the mountains, of course there are tunnels.  Honk the horn!

We have arrived at Bridal Falls, but Tic is more excited about the trees displaying their autumn colors.  This was across the highway from the parking area.

Same view, just not so close-up.

This stream is fed by the bridal Falls.  We watched a kayaker go downstream, but he zipped by so quickly, we did not get a picture.

We had to walk a short distance to get to the falls.  It was paved, so an easy walk.  You can tell it is early in the day, because our side of this canyon was still in the shade.

Here we are at  the base of Bridal Falls.

Perhaps the video shows it better?

Walking back to the Jeep, these cliffs are rugged.  Time to head to Cascade Springs!

We had to backtrack a little ways, before we would head up to the 8060' summit and on to Cascade Springs.  This is a peek at our climb.
