The Drive to Moab, UT

Today we move from Jordanelle State Park to Moab, UT.
We woke to an awesome sunrise.

The sunrise was so beautiful I had to include both pictures Tic took.

It was mostly down hill towards Provo, UT.  Later as we were getting closer to Moab, we were driving through some dramatic cliffs.

Even though we are viewing through a bug infested windshield, both the picture above and below shows one of the steep downhills.

It was a long steep downhill.  And yes we did have a long steep uphill first.

This is the first of the grand formations we began to see.

This formation is just across from the entrance to our new home in Moab.  It looks like a painting.

We finally arrived at our new home about 3pm.  Unfortunately the electricity for the whole RV park and the southern part of Moab was down.  We set everything up, then headed into downtown Moab to eat.  We had not had lunch and decided to eat an early dinner.  We got to a restaurant about 4pm had dinner and were back to the coach by 4:50pm.  Surprise!  We had electricity.  Now we could turn on the air conditioners. We need them as it is 92 degrees.  Looking forward to a calm relaxing evening.
