Yellowstone National Park - Rivers & Waterfalls

Saturday & Sunday, September 5 & 6, 2015

Wow we had two full awe-inspired days at Yellowstone National Park.  We took almost 400 pictures in Yellowstone.  It has been difficult picking which pictures to post.  I finally decided, at Tic's suggestion, to break the posts into groups.  The groups will be as follows:
-- Rivers & Waterfalls
-- Geysers
-- Landscape & Wildlife.
There will only be descriptions if I have names relating to the particular picture.

This picture and the 3 below are of the Madison River as you enter from the west side of Yellowstone.

Both the picture above and below are the Firehole Waterfall on Firehole River

This is upstream of the Firehole Waterfall and is the Firehole swimming area.  There were signs saying "swim at your own risk."

Another part of Firehole River.

Yellowstone Lake at West Thumb. It was amazing to me to see hot springs at the edge of the lake.  Beautiful!

The video above is the Yellowstone River just above the Brink of the Upper Falls.
The video below is the brink of the Upper Falls.

 Undine Falls

Wraith Falls

Tower Falls.  132 ft.

My camera does not capture all the color of the rocks.

Lewis Falls

So many beautiful rivers and waterfalls!  Much more to Yellowstone than just the geysers, which will be the next post.
