Sedona, AZ Day 4-Part 1

Friday, April 17, 2015  Part 1

We had another big day today so I am dividing it into 3 separate posts.

We started our day at Sedona Airport.  The airport sits on a high tabletop or mesa overlooking almost everything.  This view was taken looking Northwest with the main part of the town below.

This is looking back Southeast towards the community of Oak Creek.

From the same spot as above this is looking east of Sedona towards Oak Creek, AZ.  Highway 179 is down in the valley below.
Many of the mountains around here have names, but I'm not sure which one this is. Majestic!

This is Cathedral Rock from the opposite side as the picture in Sedona Day 1.

The following views are from our drive down Verde School Rd.
More beautiful red rock formations.

As we were headed down towards Verde Creek, this house on this little hill caught my attention.  Can you see it?  Look below.

Here is a closer look.  It matches the red rock so well that it is hardly noticeable.  There are MANY large custom homes here in Sedona.  Sedona is obviously a wealthy community.
