Tucson past Picacho Peak to Casa Grande AZ

Another hot day, low 90s.  Stayed inside most of the day.

This was our sunset on our last evening in Tucson.  Beautiful!!

Today is moving day!  We are heading to Casa Grande AZ for 12 days. Nothing exciting there, just a place to pass some time until we go to Sedona and the Grand Canyon.

We drove passed Picacho Peak State Park.  

There are not any roads going up the peak, only hiking trails.  We might drive there for a day of hiking.  Not sure.

We arrived at the Escapee SKP Co-op RoVers Roost Park about 11:30am.  They have a special rate for 2015 where you get 10 days for the price of $90 for 1 week. We are about 8 miles out of town so it is nice and quiet.  Roads are paved with gravel sites.  We only have 30amp.  There are a limited number of 50amp sites.

It is very flat around here.  The reason you can hardly see the mountains is because of sand in the air.

It is spring time here.  The cactus are starting to bloom.  I saw this on my walk the first evening here.

The bush behind the coach is blooming also.  Unusual flowers.  

As I walked this evening, the "fresh country air" was pungent.   For those who don't know, it is the smell of money, hee hee.
