Sedona, AZ Day 4 - Part 2

Friday, April 17, 2015 Part 2  TLAQUEPAQUE

Today our destination was Tlaquepaque (Pronounced: tuh-la-kuh-pah-kee), an eclectic array of craft shops, art galleries, sculptures, portals, flower gardens, restaurants and tours.  Upon arrival, however, our short attention span was captured by this unique appearing hotel?  Later, we forgot to go that way, so we never learned its name.  We did walk closer though, crossing a "river" walkway.

It was difficult to tell how deep the water is, but it was moving fast and appeared very clean.

And looking downstream, .....

Time to go shopping, after all, that's why we are here!

Just inside the entry, one of many fountains, and plenty of parking.

This is just one of the passage ways in this complex.

These two doors shown below are within the portal you can see beyond the fountain above.

And more flowers!!

Each bloom is different and unique.  That is creation, not evolution.  God's blessings! Or, the best things in life are free.

More gardens viewed from a second story.

Cool mural.

Very relaxing environment, music playing softly in the background.
Windmills and more windmills, .....

The one above is my favorite.  I would have one if I lived in a real house.

We were about here when the cathedral bell began to ring.  It was noon.

Ever kissed a frog?  Do you suppose there is a Prince hiding there?

The Oak Creek Brewery and Grill is upstairs from here, and the aroma was making me salivate.  We better have our lunch soon.

We could have stayed here much longer, beautiful and unique items here.

If you are ever in Sedona this was a beautiful, restful, enchanting place to visit.

Now we are off to another adventure.
