Jasper AB to Prince George BC

I'm behind on posting because we have not had either Internet nor cell service for the last 4 days. We are now at the library in Chetwynd, BC.

Today we move from Jasper National Park to Prince George. Not far outside of Jasper we started seeing elk.  Of course we had to stop and get pictures with most every one we saw.

Above and below are the same Mt Robson we saw from the Sky Tram in Jasper, AB.

As we continued you could tell it was very lush and green. Your are not looking at Mt Robson but another snow covered mountain. This is a wildlife corridor where one could see deer, bear, elk and the elusive moose.

We took pictures of most of the bear we saw.  We could not get the camera fast enough for the triplet set of cubs we saw.
We saw a few deer but not a single moose.  Dusty was disappointed! There were warning signs of moose crossings all along the highway. But the moose evidently couldn't read.  Tic told me the signs were lures to get tourists to come this way. Ha Ha!

We used Prince George as a stop to catch up on projects.  We did laundry, grocery shopping and fixed a couple of little things on the RV. It rained both days we were here. No sightseeing.  Prince George is just another big city with lots of shopping; i.e. Super Walmart and Costco.
