Jus outside of the town of Newport, ID, there is a unique home development called Spring Ridge. It is unique in that you own deeded land and can park your RV there without doing anything more, or you can build a brick and mortar home. We met Gary, the developer at Quartzsite where he was promoting his development. He offered us a free months stay, but we chose to stay only a week since our summer goal is to make it to Alaska.
Each lot is 2 acres or more, up to 10 acres. Gary installs your own well, septic system, 200 amp electric service, a gravel pad and 50' of pavement to a paved county serviced road. Scenic, serene and only 45 minutes to Spokane or Cour D'Alene.
