Moving from Eugene, OR to Lakeside, OR

Today we move from Eugene to Lakeside, OR.  It was a pretty drive.

Not far outside of Eugene, we saw unique clouds and rock formations.

As we drove on we saw large grassy hills and valleys.  See also the picture below.

The golden grass was a beautiful contrast to the green trees.

We had to cross the Umpqua River using this narrow bridge.  We slowed down to let this big truck get across before we started across.

After we crossed the bridge, the road followed the Umpqua River.  I was able to get this picture through the front windshield of the coach.

Here we are in Old Town Reedsport.  The flowers lined Main Street.  With the US flag flying, this was a picture I could not pass up.

We stayed at North Lake RV Resort & Marina in Lakeside.  Lakeside was only 11 miles south of Reedsport on Hwy 101.

This is our parking spot.  The park was nearly full and stayed that way the whole 6 days we were there.  We got all set up then had lunch. After lunch we headed to the grocery store to get groceries for dinner and breakfast for our daughter and her family.  The plan is, I will have dinner ready by the time they arrive, since it will be 7'ish before they arrive.
